Please read these terms carefully before using this website.
1. Scope and acceptance
1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website meenasonline.com and any related applications, including Meena Circle and Meena Events (together, the “Site”), operated by Meena Business Consultancy Services F.Z.C., a company registered in Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (“Meena”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms as in force at the time of use.
1.2. Where you access the Site on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity, and references to “you” include that entity.
1.3. These Terms apply to your use of the Site itself. Separate engagement terms, service agreements or letters of engagement, where entered into for the provision of consultancy, trade-matching or trade-finance-facilitation services, will govern those services and prevail over these Terms in case of conflict.
2. The Site and our services
2.1. The Site provides information about Meena’s market-entry, trade-matching, trade-finance-facilitation and grants/funds-consultation services, and access to related tools such as Meena Circle and Meena Events.
2.2. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Site at any time. Due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
3. Accounts (where applicable)
3.1. Certain areas of the Site, such as Meena Circle, may require registration. If so:
- you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
- you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account;
- you must notify us promptly at management@meenasonline.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account; and
- we may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, breaches these Terms, breaches applicable law, or is inactive for an extended period.
3.2. You may request closure of your account at any time, subject to any ongoing contractual or legal obligations. We will delete associated personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual property
4.1. All content on the Site including text, graphics, logos, the Meena name and brand, software and documentation is owned by or licensed to Meena and is protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws.
4.2. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site and any downloadable materials for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, sell or otherwise exploit any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by mandatory law.
4.3. Any feedback, ideas or suggestions you submit to us through the Site may be used by Meena free of charge for the development and improvement of our services, without any obligation to you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in a way that breaches applicable law or public morals, or infringes any third party’s rights;
- upload or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- send unsolicited advertising, spam, or misleading virus/security warnings, or promote pyramid schemes, chain letters or similar schemes; or
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or other users’ accounts.
We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, including partner and government-agency sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those sites. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
7. Disclaimers
7.1. Content on the Site is provided for general information purposes and does not constitute legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Specific services are provided only under a separate engagement with Meena.
7.2. Free or informational content and tools on the Site are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, except in cases of wilful misconduct or fraud on our part, or as required by mandatory law.
8. Liability
8.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UAE law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or wilful misconduct.
8.2. Subject to clause 8.1, Meena’s liability for any loss arising from your use of the Site (as opposed to a separately contracted service) is limited to direct, foreseeable losses, and excludes indirect or consequential loss.
8.3. We take reasonable steps to keep the Site free of viruses and harmful code but cannot guarantee this; you should use up-to-date security software of your own.
8.4. We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect the Site and the data on it. However, no system can be guaranteed fully secure. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Meena shall not be liable for any loss, corruption or unauthorised disclosure of data resulting from hacking, cyberattacks, or other unauthorised third-party access to the Site or our systems that occurs despite such reasonable security measures. Where such an incident occurs, Meena will take appropriate legal measures, including reporting the incident to the competent UAE authorities and pursuing legal action against the responsible party, and will notify affected users where required by applicable data protection law.
9. Export control and sanctions compliance
9.1. When using information, software or documentation obtained from the Site, you must comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws, including those of the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the United Nations, as relevant to your location and the destination of any transfer.
9.2. You confirm that you will not use such materials in connection with prohibited end-uses (including armaments, nuclear or other weapons programmes) without the necessary authorisations, and that you are not a sanctioned party under applicable UAE, EU, UK, US or UN sanctions lists.
9.3. You will provide Meena, on request, with information reasonably required to carry out export-control or sanctions checks, and will indemnify Meena for losses arising from your non-compliance with this Section, save where you are not at fault.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
